[{"id":527,"permalink":"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/2020\/02\/23\/supercross-tomac-continues-winning-streak-at-arlington\/","title":"Supercross: Tomac Continues Winning Streak at Arlington","content":"Eli Tomac continued his winning streak at the latest round of Supercross in Arlington, Texas Saturday night. Tomac gets the keep the red plate on his Kawasaki for one more week. The Arlington race was the second in the triple crown series for Supercross.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-530\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/TomacWin-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nBefore the 450SX main even began, all eyes were on Cooper Webb after a nasty crash during the second moto. Web went flying off the track, landing on his back on the concrete with the bike flying over him. He was immediately attended to by the onsite medical team and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Webb later posted to his twitter account, he was lucky and only got a hematoma to his pelvis and was blessed to walk away from the crash. It is uncertain at this point when Webb will return to racing.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-531\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Roczen-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nOnce the 450SX main event got started, Tomac wasted no time getting to the front. Tomac was able to hold off Ken Roczen and Jason Anderson who both had a hard-fought battle for the podium. Tomac sits 7 points ahead of Roczen in the championship standings.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-532\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/250sxStartGate-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe 250SX races saw some great battles as well. In the end, Chase Sexton came out on top beating last week\u2019s winner, Shane McElrath.
