McMillin earned $15,000 for his win from the Mint 400 and $25,000 in a bonus BF Goodrich tires payout.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nWinning the Mint 400 is not new to the McMillin family. His dad, Mark, won the Mint 32 years ago. Luke\u2019s cousin Andy also has a couple of Mint 400 wins on his resume.\r\n\r\n\u201cI can\u2019t believe it!\u201d said Luke McMillin. \u201cWe worked so hard. This truck, we built it in 2014, and I can\u2019t believe we just won the Mint 400. That\u2019s badass!\u201d\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nTop qualifier Harley Letner\u2019s raceday ended in a gasket failure. Ryan Arciero looked as if he would take the victory, but a flat tire would put him down on time killing any hopes for a win. Arciero finished third on the podium while Bryce Menzies finished second.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nA day before, in the limited class, Branden Sims took an overall victory racing a Polaris RZR side-by-side.\r\n\r\n\u201cIt was a long time coming, but man, was it worth it!\u201d Sims said from the podium. \u201cToday was a great day. We started out front, and never had any other battles we had to worry about. The only battle we had was what was in my mind, about who was in the back trying to sneak up on us.
