The race had been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BLM gave the series the green light as long as social distancing is adhered to.\r\n\r\nBest In the Desert held a recent online town hall meeting to discuss what the future of the series looks like with new health guidelines and how they plan to keep racers safe. An online survey was put up asking racers if they would be ready for a June race. Best in the Desert received an overwhelming 92 percent \u201cyes\u201d from participants. To accommodate those who can\u2019t travel and race the event, Best In The Desert will offer one throw-away race this season.
