[{"id":3486,"permalink":"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/2021\/10\/06\/honda-engineers-drive-ridgeline-in-rebelle-rally\/","title":"Honda Engineers Drive Ridgeline in Rebelle Rally","content":"Two engineers from Honda\u2019s Ohio-based North American Auto Development Center will campaign a 2021 Honda HPD Ridgeline in this year\u2019s Rebelle Rally. Liz Long and Tash Krug will compete in the eight-day all women's navigational Rally which starts Thursday.\r\n\r\nThis Honda\u2019s third year participating in the event. The Ridgeline is entered in the X-Cross class. Krug and Long will test it\u2019s handling and capability throughout the event. They are expected to drive 10-12 hours in off-road conditions. Long is a chassis test engineer and focuses on subframe and suspension components on Honda\u2019s vehicles. Krug works on Honda\u2019s engine systems.\r\n\r\nThe Honda HPD Ridgeline has been outfitted with roof rails, crossbars, cargo dividers and other accessories from Honda Genuine parts. The HPD version already comes with aggressive Bronze wheels, black fender flares and a unique grille treatment.
