A mistake in the rock section of Outer Limits cost Scherer valuable time. Bryan Crofts was the top qualifier starting next to Scherer. Gomez started fifth. Gomez was in a brand new car for 2022.\r\n\r\n\u201cMy crew killed it. We put this car in the lake bed on Tuesday.
