[{"id":5000,"permalink":"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/2022\/04\/13\/extreme-e-makes-schedule-changes\/","title":"Extreme E Makes Schedule Changes","content":"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Extreme E has been forced to postpone its Island X Prix race until July 2022. The race was originally scheduled to take place on May 7<sup>th<\/sup>. The site it planned to use was an Italian Military base in the Capo Teulada region of South-West Sardinia. Due to global events, mainly the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the base is in use for training purposes.\r\n\r\nTo complete its five-race championship promise, Extreme E will host a double-header event in Sardinia starting July 6<sup>th<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nThe remaining events will take place in Chile in September and Uruguay in November.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5003\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Extreme-E-Updated-Season-2-Calendar-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"800\" \/>","excerpt":"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Extreme E has been forced to postpone its Island X Prix race until July 2022.
