Dungey hasn\u2019t raced professionally since 2017. Dungey will race alongside the Red Bull KTM factory team starting with the season opener at Fox Raceway in Pala, California on May 28<sup>th<\/sup>.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5076\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/RYAN-DUNGEYRidingKTM-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nRed Bull KTM also announced MXGP legend Tony Cairoli will race the first two rounds of the outdoor motocross season.\r\n\r\n\u201cI\u2019m really excited about the opportunity to race the first couple rounds of the outdoors for Red Bull KTM. I\u2019ve had a lot of success with KTM in my most recent years of racing and it\u2019s exciting to go back and race for the same team with a lot of great personnel. I have a lot of trust with the team, which breeds confidence sitting on the line knowing I have good people behind me and we\u2019ve got a great dirtbike underneath us. This is a stacked class and it\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve been on the line with them but I\u2019m excited to be back on the gate. I\u2019ve got a lot of respect for the sport and the riders, so I don\u2019t go into this underestimating anybody.
