The Crandon Historical Initiative includes an official partnership with the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5818\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Crandon-Vintage-Shortcourse_Buggies-1024x677.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"423\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe project is a joint partnership with ORMHOF that will convert the upstairs area of the iconic barn and turn it into a museum that will house vintage short course vehicles, driver and event memorabilia. A wall of fame will honor drivers and volunteers at Crandon. A \u201cWalk of Fame\u201d area is also set near the podium.\r\n\r\nCrandon\u2019s original board of directors donated $30,000 to get the rights to build the annex. The current ownership donated an additional $11,000.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5819\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Crandon-Vintage-Shortcourse_Flannery-1024x695.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"434\" \/>\r\n\r\n\"The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame is looking forward to partnering with Crandon International Raceway to celebrate the history of short course racing,\" said ORMHOF executive\u00a0administrator\u00a0Barbara Rainey.\r\n\r\nCrandon is also working on having vintage race vehicles compete on the track as part of the historical initiative.
