The popular 15-day rally returns to Saudi Arabia for the fourth time on December 31<sup>st<\/sup>. Set up along the Red Sea, 365 vehicles are expected to start the rally.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5990\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Dakar2023Map_Web-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe route winds from the Red Sea to the sands of the Arabian Gulf in Dammam. The course winds into the north-western mountain regions before turning southeast into the ocean dunes of the Empty Quarter. Rally mileage will total 8,459-kilometers or just over 5,200-miles.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5992\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DakarClassic_Vehicle-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/>\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the rally has announced the Dakar Classic which will allow vintage vehicles to race their own class.
