Ken Block Passes Away in Snowmobile Crash

Rally car driver Ken Block has passed away at the age 55 after a snowmobile accident. According to Block’s Instagram page, he was in Park City, Utah snowmobiling and had posted videos of he and his crew using equipment to groom a track at his ranch. The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office in Utah says they received a 911 call reporting a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area. They say Block was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when it upended and landed on top of him.

The following statement was posted to the Hoonigan Instagram page:

Block was a rally car champion competing in several X-Games and World Rally events. He was also the co-founder of DC Shoes. Block co-founded the Hoonigan brand as well as the producer of the Gymkhana video series.
