The race was definitely not easy. The riders had plenty of mud, rain and deep ruts to contend with.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 450SX main event, Jason Anderson was out front with the holeshot. Chase Sexton made an immediate charge to take over the lead as the first lap was completed. Justin Barcia then quickly grabbed the lead but then Ken Roczen was there to take over. Barcia dropped back to third. Barcia made contact with Sexton who went down in the whoops section and got passed by half the field. Up front, Roczen stretched out his lead as Barcia continued to chase him down. Barcia finally made a move taking away Roczen\u2019s lead. Soon the battle behind Barcia was between Roczen and Eli Tomac. Tomac was still recovering from an early crash during qualifying. Roczen went down in the whoops section allowing Tomac to get the second spot. Barcia won the event and Roczen was able to hold onto the final podium spot.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe 250SX race was an East\/West showdown that put both Lawrence brothers on the track together. The race would be shortened to 12-minutes plus one lap due to the inclement weather conditions. Max Anstie had the holeshot. It took some time but soon Jett Lawrence was chasing Anstie down for the lead. Jett made a final push in the whoops. Anstie kept his calm keeping Jett from making the pass in a corner. RJ Hampshire was also trying to make a move and made contact with Jett who went down but quickly recovered. Meantime, up front Anstie secured his first-ever Supercross win.
