Hunter Lawrence made headlines, locking up the Western Regional 250SX class title. Chase Sexton moved into second place in the 450 championship standings with a Nashville win.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6991\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023SupercrossNashville_ChaseSextonWin-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nEli Tomac had an early lead at the beginning of the 450 main event. Three minutes into the race, Chase Sexton had moved to second and was chasing Tomac down. Tomac nearly crashed in the whoops but kept the bike upright, causing him to slow down and rethink his moves. Sexton eventually closed the gap between him and Tomac. Behind Sexton, Barcia who was in third, crashed, opening up the spot for Justin Hill. At the checkered flag, Sexton was in the lead and had the victory. A heat race crash would sideline Cooper Webb. Tomac held on for second.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6992\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023eSupercrossNashville_250Pack-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nHunter Lawrence had the holeshot in the 250SX main. Jordon Smith quickly got around Lawrence. All Lawrence had to do was better than 20<sup>th<\/sup> place. Smith continued to lead for several laps before making a mistake and going off track. Lawrence was back in the lead. Jo Shimoda tried to get a run on Lawrence but was unsuccessful.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6993\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023Supercross_LawrenceChampionship-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nJust two rounds remain in the 2023 season. Next up, riders will head to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.
