With just one final round to go, Tomac will not be lining up at the starting gate in Utah on Saturday. The points leader came off a jump and seriously injured his Achilles tendon at the race in Denver. Tomac went straight to the medical center at the track and later had his injury looked at by professionals.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7030\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/2023SupercrossDenver_TomacInjury-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nTomac was leading in the points and only had to finish 20<sup>th<\/sup> or better to lock up the Supercross Championship in the final round. Cooper Webb just a couple weeks ago also suffered an injury that ended his season.
