Justin Lofton had the lead until Cole Potts had a made a pass to get out front. On the Potts final lap he got a flat tire, then discovered a major mechanical issue that would sideline the leader. Lofton regained the lead. Conner McMullen was quietly sitting second overall in his Class 1 open wheel buggy. Lofton experienced mechanical issues and was forced to stop. Kyle Jergensen and Justin Davis were running close on time to each other. Davis proved 12-seconds faster and came away with the win after Jergensen stopped on the final lap.
