He started the race out front and never gave up his spot. Alan Ampudia brought home a win at the San Felipe 250 after leading and winning the SCORE San Felipe 250. Ampudia lead the field of 270 starters at the season opener. Ampudia was one of the few racers to finish penalty free with a time of four hours, two minutes and twenty-one seconds.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-9262\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2024-San-Fellpe-250_Ampudia-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\n\u201cIt went really well. We had no problems at all. We kept it moving. We only had one main pit. That was the name of the game\u2026just keep the truck moving and nobody would be able to get by us. Gustavo Vildolsola won in the legends class while Thor Herbst enjoyed a win in the Trophy Truck spec class. Brad Wilson came away with a class 1 win and Cayden McCachren won in the Pro UTV Open class.
