When the gate dropped for Moto 1, Both Lawrence brothers were battling for the lead. As Jett began to run away with the lead, a hard crash would send the defending champion to the ground and ultimately to the mechanics area to have his bike fixed. A perfect season was immediately out of the question and the winning streak was over. Hunter took over the lead, but it was Sexton who ultimately won the moto.

In the second moto, Justin Cooper was out front early. Jett tried to get to the lead but began to fade towards mid-pack. Chase Sexton made a hard charge to win another moto, going 1-1 with the overall win.
