Jett Lawrence Back on Top at Thunder Valley

Jett Lawrence was back on top at the Pro Motocross series at Thunder Valley near Denver, Colorado over the weekend. Lawrence rebounded after losing his winning streak a week ago.

In the first moto, Justin Cooper was out front leading the field. Cooper’s lead continued until Jett began to work his way up the field picking off riders until he reached Cooper. Also, on the move was Hunter Lawrence. Hunter seized the lead with a few minutes to go with Jett finishing second. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was back out front. Halfway through the race, Hunter was back fighting for the lead. Jett was also there, and the battle continued until Jett was able to overtake Cooper for the lead. Hunter also made a pass for second. Jett won the moto with a tight 1.2 second lead.

In the 250 class, Haiden Deegan claimed his third overall win for the season. In the first moto, Deegan and Tom Vialle battled for the lead. Vialle briefly held the top spot until the end when Deegan found an alternate line on the white flag lap and won the moto. In the second Moto, Chance Hymas was out front and ended up winning the moto wire to wire. Once points were calculated, Deegan brought home the overall win.
