Manuel Lettenbichler Wins Red Bull Romaniacs

Manuel Lettenbichler has taken the overall win at the Red Bull Romaniacs event. The race was part of round four of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. Lettenbichler took the lead on day one and took advantage of creating a sizable advantage throughout the remainder of the event. Lettenbichler has now won three events, missing round 3 in Serbia due to injury.

The event is the world’s toughest hard enduro with four grueling days of racing and 23 hours of total riding time.

“That was great! I am pretty tired, the last three days I was struggling quite a lot, but the last 20 kilometers before the finish I felt better knowing I was close. You always find that last bit of energy to push to the finish,” said Lettenbichler. Round five will take riders to the United States in late August.
