SCORE International has put out the map for the Baja 400 race. The race will be held starting in Ensenada on September 10th. The course features a 424.96-mile racecourse open to cars, trucks and UTVs. The Pro Motorcycle and Quad classes will run a slightly longer course mapped at 434.52-miles. The course has also been shortened for the the Sportsman classes at just 393.91 miles. Bryce Menzies has won the last three Baja 400 events.

The route starts through Rancho Nelson and winds through Rancho Cascabeles before crossing Highway 3 at KM 33. It then heads up Rancho Grijalva in Ojos Negros and climbs up the mountains in Urapan before hitting Highway 1 right next to the Acambaro market and into Santo Tomas. The course then heads into the San Vicente wash going into Lopez Rayon, Malibu Beach, Cerro Solo and Johnson Ranch, then winding around Punta Colonet over to Llano Colorado. The road goes up to La Calentura, Los Llanitos and through Valle De Trinidad to the famous “Goat Trail.” The route heads back up to Jamau, Santa Catarina and at KM 77 goes into Cerro Colorado and back over to Ojos Negros eventually finishing in the heart of Ensenada.

Over 220 race teams will take the green flag for the event. Former Class 5 Champion Doug Robertson will serve as grand marshal.
