Polvoorde qualified Menzies Trophy Truck on the pole driving the fastest on the 4-mile qualifying course just outside of Ensenada. Menzies who won last year\u2019s Baja 1000 will start out front with a huge advantage.\r\n\r\nThe SCORE Baja 1000 gets started Friday in Ensenada. The course will run 864 down and back up the Baja Peninsula. Entries from 32 states and 18 countries will take the green flag on race day. Competitors have a 36-hour time limit to finish the race.
