An almost unbeatable Eli Tomac has won the WSX title. Tomac’s almost perfect record catapulted him way ahead in the point standings going into the final round in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. Tomac won the SuperPole, then stayed calm keeping himself in each race with a 3-2-2 GP finish. Tomac won the SuperFinal, securing the title.

Tomac unseats defending champion Ken Roczen in the series. Tomac has said that he will retire from professional racing at the end of 2025.

Over in the 250 class, Shane McElrath has reclaimed the crown for his class. McElrath is now a two-time champion in the WSX series. McElrath won the title in 2022. McElrath beat competitors Coty Schock and Cole Thompson by a single point. McElrath had a clean podium sweep in all of the GP Motos and SuperFinal event.
Dates for the 2025 WSX season have already been announced. The first two events will be held in London and Buenos Aires.
