The Annual King of the Motos event was held in Johnson Valley as the opening races to the King of the Hammers. The event was also the first chance riders could earn points in the U.S. Hard Enduro Series. Defending Champion Trystan Hart made no mistake that he was the top rider at the event.

Hart rode with an injured index finger, conquering the tough rock sections on his KTM. Hart has three victories at King of the Motos. “I came in unprepared following a recent injury and wasn’t even going to race, but I ended up getting second in the Prologue and then in the main race I put a really hard charge in on the last lap, so was able to get a pretty decent gap. I was able to get the King of the Motos win for the third time, so it was a good weekend!”

Also part of King of the Motos was Jeremy McGrath’s Holeshot King. McGrath was known during his supercross years for frequently holeshotting races. Racers ran head to head in a bracket style event. Top honors of that event went to the father son duo of Zip Ty Davis and Dustyn Davis.
