Starting in San Felipe at the beginning of April, SCORE will add a new 2-wheel drive Trophy Truck class to the series. The new class comes after many of the top drivers in the sport switched to more expensive all-wheel drive Trophy Trucks, leaving those without the budget unable to be competitive in the class.
Rules for this class means the truck cannot have all-wheel drive. Numbers on the 2-wheel drive Trophy Truck will be identified with a “T”. There are now three classes within the Trophy Truck division at SCORE. Legends which identifies drivers over 50-years of age, All-Wheel drive and the new 2-wheel drive.
Additionally, drivers can race at least three races this year to qualify for a championship in the event a team is not ready for the upcoming SCORE San Felipe 250. The SCORE San Felipe 250 will be held April 2nd-6th.
