Triumph Announces New Contract with Sam Sunderland

Triumph Motorcycles has signed a contract with two-time Dakar Rally Champion Sam Sunderland. Sunderland will help Triumph develop new off-road projects as a brand ambassador. Sunderland retired from professional racing in July 2024.

“This collaboration with Triumph marks an exciting next step in my career, and I’m looking forward to being a part of this British team which alongside Red Bull, is ready to take on new challenges with me. I can’t wait to get started,” said Sunderland.

Triumph has made a significant investment in the off-road motorcycle market with the launch of the TF 250-X and TF 450-RC editions. The company made its Supercross debut in the 250-class last year with riders Jalek Swoll and Evan Ferry.  This year Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith, Jalek Swoll and Stilez Robertson are part of the 2025 Supermotorcross team.
