The latest round of Supercross was a Triple Crown event held in Arlington, Texas. Cooper Webb won the overall battle going 6-1-1. Webb’s victory came down to the final lap of the last race of the night. Ken Roczen won the first race. It looked like Chase Sexton was going to end the night with a victory but ended up crashing into Webb and losing several positions. Webb now has control of the red plate as the points leader in the series.

“It was a great battle. Chase and I were coming through the pack, and we were going for it. We got around Kenny and then the battle was on. He made that mistake and stalled it [and gave up the lead], and I actually ended up stalling myself. It was a duel until the end. I felt a little something [nudge me] at the end, and then I heard the crowd, and I was just in disbelief like everyone else. I can’t believe it. It’s a lot of luck there” said Webb.

The 250 West riders were back on track at Arlington and that meant Haiden Deegan was back on the Yamaha. Deegan went 1-1-2 for the overall win. Deegan also holds the red plate as the points leader.
