Menzies sustained a neck injury during qualifying at the San Felipe 250 back in March. Menzies posted the following statement on social media: \u201cI initially thought it was not a big deal, upon returning from the race I was still dealing with constant headaches. I decided to go to the hospital where we discovered I had a ruptured artery going to brain which led to having a stroke.\u201d\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13147\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Menzies-Baja-500-Statement-779x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"841\" \/>\r\n\r\nMenzies goes on in the statement to say he is working with various specialists to figure out why it happened and he is expected to make a 100 percent recovery. Those specialists have not yet cleared Menzies to race. Menzies is expected to compete in the SCORE Baja 400 in September.
