Stilez Robertson Announces Retirement from Professional Dirt Bike Racing

After a perennial struggle with a recurring wrist injury, motocross standout Stilez Robertson has officially announced his retirement from professional racing. The 23‑year‑old racer made the difficult decision, citing ongoing pain and repeated setbacks stemming from the injury.

Robertson’s year began with promise as part of Triumph Factory Racing’s formidable four‑rider lineup—joining teammates like Austin Forkner and Jordon Smith. However, his season unraveled quickly: a wrist injury first struck during the initial Monster Energy Supercross race in Anaheim, severely limiting his performance. Despite his efforts to rehabilitate, Robertson re‑injured the wrist at Round 1 of Pro Motocross in Pala, California.

“I’ve made a really hard decision, but with my wrist injury still bothering me, I am stepping away from professional racing.” “I’ve been at the practice track supporting the other riders on the team this summer and I’ve been really enjoying it, as well as helping develop Triumph’s amateur racing program,” said Robertson.

Although Robertson is stepping back from professional competition, he remains active within the sport—lending his experience to coaching at team practice sessions and aiding the development of Triumph’s amateur racing program. Triumph has not yet named a replacement for Robertson.
