Best In The Desert & UNLTD Off Road Racing Form Alliance

In a move set to transform the landscape of American desert off‑road racing, Best In The Desert (BITD) and UNLTD Off‑Road Racing have announced a strategic partnership to launch the American Off‑Road Racing Championship—a unified national series scheduled for 2026.

The announcement was unveiled yesterday at the Vegas to Reno Drivers Meeting, where industry leaders—including Bryan Folks (son of BITD founder Casey Folks) and UNLTD executives Josh and Matt Martelli—presented details of the new championship.

“Matt, Josh, and I have shared a mutual respect for many years,” said Bryan Folks, CEO of
Best In The Desert. “We’ve each worked hard to grow the sport in our own ways, always with the racers in mind. Both of our organizations have received extensive feedback from racers and sponsors over the past few years. This is the right time to come together to unify our strengths, align our visions, and ensure the long-term health and stability of desert off-road racing in America.”

The purpose of the new alliance aims to unify class rules and points system under one umbrella. By consolidating leadership and resources, BITD and UNLTD are positioning this championship to be a unifying force in the sport—bringing together the best racers, venues, and fanbases across the nation.
