One of the most iconic figures in U.S. motocross history, Jeff Ward, has been named Grand Marshal for the 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN), set to take place October 3–5 at Ironman Raceway.
Ward, a legendary USA Motocross Team competitor and multiple-time AMA champion, will lead the Nucor Grand Parade of Nations during the opening ceremonies on Friday, October 3, and also preside over the opening ceremonies on race day, Sunday, October 5.
“Jeff Ward represents everything the Motocross of Nations stands for — national pride, world-class talent, and a relentless drive to win,” said Tim Cotter, Event Director for the 2025 MXoN. “It is only fitting that the winningest American in MXoN history leads Team USA and our fans into this year’s event as Grand Marshal.”
Ward’s selection honors his outstanding record at the MXoN. He represented Team USA seven times between 1983 and 1990 — and won each time, an unbroken streak that still stands today. Beyond the MXoN, Ward’s résumé is storied: multiple AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross titles; championships in every displacement and in both racing disciplines (which is rare in AMA history); induction into both the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.
