A capacity crowd turned out under the lights in Southern California as the 2026 Supercross season roared to life. The night of course wasn’t without drama. A multi-rider crash forced a red flag restart, shuffling positions on the track.

Thirty-three-year-old Eli Tomac took control when the Main Event resumed, seized the lead early, and led every lap to the finish. His blend of speed, rhythm, and consistency proved unassailable. This is Tomac’s 54th Supercross career win. Ken Roczen and Jorge Prado finished second and third on the podium.

History was made in the 250 class. In the 250SMX Western Division Main Event, Max Anstie delivered one of the most memorable rides of his career. The veteran from England became the oldest winner in 250SMX history. Anstie is 32 years old. He raced smartly to the front and sprinted away from the field to claim the season’s first 250 victory. Chance Hymas finished second and Ryder DiFrancesco third. Haiden Deegan was just outside of the podium bubble in fourth.
