Unlike the brutal rock trails that define the main Ultra4 race, the Desert Challenge is all about momentum, navigation, and mechanical trust. Long lake beds, silty washes, and hidden square edges punished hesitation and equipment. Polvoorde qualified second just a day before Sunday\u2019s Unlimited Race. When the race started, it wouldn\u2019t be long before the course quickly started collecting victims, causing front-runners into roadside repairs. Polvoorde pushed on for the win.
