Ford Performance is set to make history at the 30th anniversary Casey Folks Vegas to Reno race as the Ford Raptor T1+ makes its North American desert racing debut. The rally-raid machine, developed by Ford Performance and M-Sport for international competition, will tackle the more than 500-mile Nevada event with Mitch Guthrie Jr. behind the wheel and Kellon Walch serving as co-driver.

Fresh off a successful campaign at the Dakar Rally, the Raptor T1+ now faces one of America’s toughest off-road endurance races. The 2026 edition of Vegas to Reno will run in reverse for the first time in the event’s history, earning the nickname “The Other Way” as competitors race from Reno to Las Vegas across Nevada’s rugged desert terrain.

The appearance marks a significant milestone for Ford Performance as it brings its premier rally-raid program to U.S. desert racing, where the Raptor T1+ will be tested against some of the country’s best off-road competitors in one of the sport’s most demanding events.
