Luke McMillin added another major accomplishment to his growing off-road racing résumé Sunday, winning the 7th SCORE Baja 400 and completing the SCORE Baja Grand Slam. McMillin drove his No. 83 McMillin Racing AWD Ford Raptor Mason to the overall victory on the 423.42-mile course with an official time of 8 hours, 40 minutes and 50 seconds. The victory was his third consecutive SCORE Trophy Truck win of the 2026 season.
The San Diego racer’s Baja Grand Slam now includes victories in the SCORE San Felipe 250, SCORE Baja 500 and the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, joining an exclusive group of racers to accomplish the feat. Bryce Menzies of Las Vegas finished second overall in the No. 7 Ford Raptor Mason, just 2 minutes and 32 seconds behind McMillin. Kevin Thompson and Harley Letner finished third, while Alan Ampudia was fourth.
The motorcycle overall was led by Tyler Lynn, who teamed with Sam Pretscherer and Carter Klein aboard an SLR Honda CRF450X to win the Pro Moto Unlimited class and the overall motorcycle competition in 8:53:33. The victory marked the team’s third consecutive SCORE World Desert Championship win of the season.
In the other major four-wheel classes, Brad Wilson and Kyle Quinn scored the Class 1 victory in their No. 138 Jimco-Chevy with a time of 10:19:29. Carlos “Apdaly” Lopez captured the Trophy Truck Spec class in 9:20:22, while Wayne Matlock dominated Pro UTV Open and the overall UTV competition in 9:54:28, earning the $50,000 Polaris SCORE Challenge.
