Ferrandis, 32, will make his final professional appearance September 26 at the SMX World Championship Final in Ridgedale, Missouri. The 2026 season has been his first with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Team as the French manufacturer made its debut in the U.S. Supercross championship.\r\n\r\nThe Frenchman leaves the sport as a four-time AMA champion. Ferrandis captured back-to-back 250SX West titles in 2019 and 2020 before moving into the 450 class and winning the 2021 AMA Pro Motocross Championship in his first full season in the premier outdoor class.\r\n\r\nFerrandis spent much of his career with Star Racing Yamaha before moving to Phoenix Racing Honda and eventually joining Ducati for its inaugural U.S. racing program.
