Polaris RZR Factory Racing is adding one of the most accomplished and versatile names in off-road racing to its lineup, signing Kyle Chaney to a multi-year racing agreement. Chaney will pilot a Polaris RZR Pro R Factory at King of the Hammers and select premier U.S. off-road events, bringing a championship-caliber résumé and proven ability across multiple disciplines to an already dominant factory program.

The signing gives Polaris another proven winner as RZR Factory Racing continues to build on a remarkable run of success in North American off-road racing. The team has captured three consecutive UTV Open championships in the SCORE World Desert Championship and has collected major victories at the Baja 1000, Baja 500, Baja 400, San Felipe 250, Mint 400, King of the Hammers and Vegas to Reno.

Chaney brings an impressive record of his own. The off-road veteran is a two-time GNCC champion, three-time short-course champion and four-time consecutive UTV King of the Hammers winner. He added perhaps the biggest accomplishment of his career in 2025 when he won the overall King of the Hammers Race of Kings. Chaney became the first driver to win the premier 4400 Unlimited race at King of the Hammers in a UTV-based vehicle, further establishing himself as one of the sport’s most versatile competitors.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Polaris and RZR Factory Racing,” Chaney said. “I’ve competed against them for years, so I know the level they operate and the drive they have to compete and win each and every race. When the opportunity presented itself, it was a no-brainer to be a part of the program they’re building.”

Chaney’s arrival also sets the stage for an intriguing chapter at King of the Hammers, where he has already established himself as one of the dominant UTV competitors in the event’s history. Now, he’ll take that experience into the Polaris factory program and pursue victories across a broader range of terrain and competition.
