Anderson charged to the front Friday after Henderson spun while battling for the lead, while Mickey Thomas finished second and Adrian Cenni took third. Henderson\u2019s championship advantage over CJ Greaves was reduced, setting up a winner-take-all feel for the finale. Henderson answered when it mattered most, securing the PRO4 championship and capping a season-long battle that also included Greaves and Thomas. The title was especially hard-earned after Henderson had to fight through the chaos at Glen Helen, where the rough track and limited visibility made every lap a challenge.<\/p>\r\n

Ryan Beat also entered the weekend with a championship lead and came under pressure from Johnny Holtger during the final rounds. Beat finished third in Friday night's PRO2 race, but a post-race penalty dropped him from the podium and moved Ricky Gutierrez into third. Cole Mamer stole the show, charging from deep in the field to claim his first career PRO2 victory in only his second race in the class. Holtger finished second. The win not only delivered another victory but officially secured his 2026 Pro-Lite championship. Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) is preparing to launch its newest racing platform, with the inaugural CORR NEXT event scheduled for October 10-11 at Firebird Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona.<\/p>\r\n
The opening weekend will feature Rounds 1 and 2 of the new 2026-27 CORR NEXT championship, which was created specifically for beginner, youth and developing short-course off-road racers. The series is designed to provide an affordable entry point into short-course racing while giving competitors additional track time and an opportunity to develop their skills.<\/p>\r\n
CORR NEXT will feature a combination of youth and UTV classes, including 200 Limited, 170 Limited, 170 Modified, 570 Modified, Youth Restricted, Youth NA, Sportsman SXS, Pro-Am Limited and Pro-Am Modified. The opening event will offer separate beginner and experienced divisions in several classes.<\/p>\r\nThe CORR NEXT schedule consists of five doubleheader weekends, all at Firebird Motorsports Park. Henderson was nearly untouchable in PRO4. The Georgia driver grabbed the holeshot and immediately opened a gap on the field, leading every lap for his fifth victory of the season. The win increased his championship lead over CJ Greaves to nine points with the final two rounds remaining at Glen Helen. The fight for second went down to the final laps. Mickey Thomas was fast throughout the race, but a problem with his left-front wheel allowed Greaves to close in. Gutierrez took control early and quickly separated himself from the field for his first victory since Round 6 at ERX, keeping his championship hopes alive. Cory Winner appeared headed for second before an incident in the final turn with two laps remaining sent him spinning and caused water to begin pouring from the rear coolers. Ryan Beat moved into second and held on for his sixth podium in the last seven rounds. Nick Visser responded to a difficult round at Bark River with a dominant performance in PRO SPEC. Visser led from start to finish for his fourth victory of the season and extended his championship lead to 13 points. Tony Keepers continued his championship battle with Cole Bernloehr by winning the PRO Buggy World Championship. Keepers took control on Lap 3 and pulled away from the field for his third victory of the season. Greaves grabbed the holeshot and ran near the front throughout the race before Thomas moved into first on Lap 9. One lap later, however, Thomas slowed, allowing Greaves to regain the lead. Greaves held off a late charge from Cole Mamer to secure his second win of the season by just eight-tenths of a second. Mamer finished second, while Thomas recovered to complete the podium. Sunday brought more of the same high-level competition, with Mickey Thomas rebounding to win the PRO4 race while Johnny Holtger claimed the PRO2 victory. After Kyle Greaves briefly led the opening lap, Beat took advantage of a mistake by Greaves and moved into first. Beat then steadily built his advantage while a battle developed behind him between Johnny Holtger, Greaves and Ricky Gutierrez. A late incident involving Greaves and Gutierrez shuffled the order, but Beat remained comfortably out front to earn his first victory since Crandon earlier in the season. Holtger finished second, with Gutierrez recovering to take third. Connor Barry strengthened his position in the PRO Lite championship with a victory of his own. After Matt Wood controlled the early laps, Barry made his move on Lap 4 and took command. Wood settled for second, while Joey Maciosek completed the podium. Chris Van Den Elzen's championship lead in PRO Spec came under pressure when Avery Hemmer's early lead disappeared after a flat rear tire. Van Den Elzen inherited the top spot, but Nick Visser eventually worked his way past and went on to claim his second consecutive victory. Dylan Parsons and Braden Beauchamp battled for the remaining podium spots, with Beauchamp taking second at the finish and Parsons third. The victory marked Bootle's third win during a six-race podium streak and further extended his championship advantage. Bootle was equally dominant in PRO Stock SxS, charging past early leader Brody Sands on Lap 4 before pulling away from the field for his fourth victory of the season. Sands finished second, while Collin Truett rounded out the podium.Holtger's PRO2 victory on Sunday came as he moved through a late-race battle and secured another important win, while the SxS divisions continued to be dominated by Bootle. The 2026 World Finals Presented by Apevie Simulators begin November 18, kicking off a three-round championship series contested over three consecutive Wednesday nights. Unlike a conventional championship, the World Finals utilize a postseason-style format inspired by SMX.\r\n\r\nDrivers earn seeds into later rounds based on performances throughout the season, while others must qualify their way into each round week after week.
