Just like the last few rounds, racing was competitive along with some of the usual drama.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nKen Roczen snagged the holeshot with Malcolm Stewart in second place. Jason Anderson made a quick move around Stewart. He then set his sights on Roczen, making an aggressive move that cost Roczen. Both riders collided in a sand section sending Roczen off the bike. Anderson managed to stay on the bike and continued to run the lead. Half-way into the race, Anderson high-sided off the track allowing Eli Tomac to cut under and finish the race for the win. Anderson finished second and Tomac third.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Western Regional 250SX class, Vince Friese was out front at the start of the race. Also battling for the lead was Michael Mosiman, Christian Craig and Jo Shimoda. With Mosiman in the lead, Craig began his hunt to get out front. Friese was running in third when a crash in the whoops knocked him off the bike. Hunter Lawrence moved into third. As Friese was getting back up, he was hit by Shimoda. The contact sent Shimoda off the bike. As the time and the laps ticked away, Craig made his move around Mosiman. Mosiman attempted to regain the spot but was unsuccessful. Craig went on to win the race. He also leads the season point standings ahead of Hunter Lawrence.\r\n
