Sexton sits third in the championship points standings. Eli Tomac continues to lead but not by much. Cooper Webb gained much needed points at Atlanta to edge closer to Tomac.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 450 main event, Ken Roczen had the holeshot. Chase Sexton made quick work getting to the lead on the first lap. Sexton maintained that lead through the race with riders battling behind him. Barcia had moved up to third and got around Roczen for second. Roczen settled for a third-place podium finish.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Eastern Regional 250 class, Hunter Lawrence was out front ahead of Haiden Deegan. Deegan jumped to the lead, but Lawrence wasn\u2019t having it, reclaiming the top spot. Lawrence soon got out of shape in a rhythm section and Deegan was back out front. Lawrence took a couple of laps to get back out front, passing Deegan again. Soon Deegan\u2019s Yamaha Star Racing teammate Jordon Smith made a pass for second. Plessigner went down after washing out his front end. Sexton made the pass for the lead. Tomac also made a pass on Webb and was sitting in second place. With the white flag in sight, Sexton had a run in with a lapped rider, costing him the win. Atlanta\u2019s round 9 marked the halfway point in the season. In the 450SX main event, Ken Roczen shot out of the gate, grabbed the holeshot and never looked back.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBehind Roczen, several battles were brewing. Eli Tomac and Blake Baggett got tangled up in a poorly timed pass, sending both riders to the ground. Meanwhile, Cooper Webb was making his way towards the front of the pack. Just one week ago in Arlington, Webb was transported to the hospital after a bad crash. His return to racing looked questionable. Webb beat the odds and was miraculously on the start line for Saturday\u2019s race. With just four minutes on the clock, Tomac showed up in the top 3, and began pushing Webb to ride faster for position. The two battled side by side right up until the end. Justin Barcia was in second and not giving up his position either. At times Tomac, Webb and Barcia raced 3-wide. In the end Barcia took second and Webb edged out Tomac for the third spot.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"This was a fun race. I mean, I had a good gap and that makes it also difficult. The track broke down a lot more than I thought it was going to, honestly. So that makes it tough. You just don't want to make a mistake, so you really have to keep your composure throughout the entire Main Event\u201d, said Roczen.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nWebb who was in pain on the podium said \"That was probably the hardest race I've ever had, but you know it's amazing after I had a bad start and stalled it and I was way back. And just put my head down and tried to do the best I can. Got a few gifts from the guys up front, but man that was painful.\u201d\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Eastern Regional 250SX main event, Chase Sexton was back on the top podium spot. Shane McElrath was right behind Sexton in second place. Sexton is ahead in the points standings. \u00a0Roczen now ties Tomac in the points standings for the 450SX class.\r\n\r\n450SX Class Results<\/strong>\r\n
