Some 40 plus cars were entered in the M.O.R.E PCI 300 held on Saturday in Lucerne Valley. A Friday evening qualifying session was held with Richard Woods in the 1698 as the top qualifier in the Sweet 16 Shootout. Racers were vying for a variety of prizes including a $60,000 total purse.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nThe buggies shot off the start line in groups of three early at 7am just as the sun began rising. Cole Hardin in the 1679 had the lead for all five laps. Unfortunately, on the final lap Hardin rolled the car in a whoops section. He and his co-driver would be ok. Racing in Laughlin is finally on the schedule with the Nevada Hare Scrambles. Also, back by popular demand, is the Baja Nevada event, this time run on a single day with over 650 miles of race course. The series will also head to Primm next year for a Stateline Shootout.
