Hymas surgery will take place September 24th<\/sup> in Nashville.\r\n\r\nHymas had an operation on the same joint then tore his ACL in training as the 2024 season got underway. Despite the injury, Hymas continued to ride winning podiums throughout the season. Hymas re-aggravated his injury during the opening round of the SMX playoffs. Hymas then pulled out of the remainder of the playoffs, but after further consultation surgery has become necessary. Hymas can\u2019t risk only a two-week recovery period then competing in the in the Motocross of Nations. There\u2019s a strong chance of him re-aggravating the injury and putting the team\u2019s potential win in jeopardy.\r\n\r\n\u201cI\u2019m absolutely gutted,\u201d Hymas said. \u201cI have waited for the opportunity to represent my country at MXoN since I was a kid. I was proud and excited to wear the Red, White and Blue. I was doing everything in my power to be ready for MXoN, but I\u2019ve been battling issues with my knee this entire season. Jett held a comfortable lead for most of the moto until Ken Roczen began applying the pressure. Jett went down off the bike in a downhill section. He quickly remounted after Roczen and Garrett Marchbanks got by. Jett went to work, moving into second and getting and into a fierce battle with Roczen. At some point Jett got by Roczen. As Roczen tried to fight back for the lead, he went down, losing multiple positions. Jett won the moto. In the second moto, Roczen had an early lead after getting the holeshot. Behind Roczen, several riders including Jett were battling for position. By the end of the moto, Jett was on the move surging past Roczen for the lead, the win and soon the overall.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the opening moto of the 250 class, RJ Hampshire was out front with the holeshot. One-by-one, Hunter Lawrence began picking off riding to get to the lead. Hampshire crashed allowing Haiden Deegan to get by. Both continued to battle to the end with Hampshire claiming the victory. Hunter finished the moto in third. In moto two, Levi Kitchen was the rider with the holeshot. Chance Hymas soon sprinted to the front.
