Craig was on the track during practice when he crashed, dislocating his hip and right elbow. Craig also broke his arm. The crash has ended his Supercross season.\r\n\r\n\"Unfortunately, I had a practice crash early in the first practice in Arizona,\" Craig explained.<\/strong> \"I ended up dislocating my hip and elbow. The doctors at the hospital were able to get them both put back in place, but I ended up breaking my arm also, and that is going to require surgery. Beyond bummed to end my season this way, but trying to stay positive and be ready to go when I'm healed!\"\r\n\r\nThis is Craig\u2019s first full 450SX season. The latest round over the weekend was the series third stop in Anaheim.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nWhen the gate dropped, Anderson had the holeshot. A very hungry Eli Tomac was directly behind Anderson. Tomac jumped to the lead, but Anderson wasn\u2019t having any of it and regained the lead right back. A mistake in the whoops cost Tomac some time and allowed Anderson some breathing room. Anderson won the main event and Tomac settled in for second.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAnaheim 3 was the final event for a while for the Western Regional 250 class. The class will take a much-needed break, allowing the Eastern Regional riders get their first gate starts next week. When the gate dropped, three riders were battling in the first corner. Christian Craig emerged in the lead with Hunter Lawrence and Vince Friese following behind. The battle between Craig and Lawrence continued. Just six minutes into the moto, Lawrence went down in the whoops section. Craig ran away with the lead. Michael Mosiman had made it second but also went down in the whoops. Mosiman remounted his bike but not before Friese made a pass for second. Mosiman held on for third.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nEli Tomac leads the 450 class standings and Christian Craig has a 28-point lead in the Western Regional 250 class. Eli Tomac now has back to back Supercross wins. Tomac is the only racer thus far to get more than one win in the season.\n\n\"\"\n\nTomac had secured holeshots in both heat races. When it came to the main 450SX moto, Chase Sexton was out front. Tomac sat third. Tomac sat quietly there for most of the race. In the final five minutes of the race Tomac pushed into second, then made his move on Sexton for the lead and the race win.\n\n\"\"\n\nOver in the Western Regional 250SX class, Hunter Lawrence grabbed his first win of the season. Lawrence has always had podium spots during the last four rounds. Christian Craig got second and Jo Shimoda third. Craig continues to lead the championship points standings. Just like the last few rounds, racing was competitive along with some of the usual drama.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nKen Roczen snagged the holeshot with Malcolm Stewart in second place. Jason Anderson made a quick move around Stewart. He then set his sights on Roczen, making an aggressive move that cost Roczen. Both riders collided in a sand section sending Roczen off the bike. Anderson managed to stay on the bike and continued to run the lead. Half-way into the race, Anderson high-sided off the track allowing Eli Tomac to cut under and finish the race for the win. Anderson finished second and Tomac third.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Western Regional 250SX class, Vince Friese was out front at the start of the race. Also battling for the lead was Michael Mosiman, Christian Craig and Jo Shimoda. With Mosiman in the lead, Craig began his hunt to get out front. Friese was running in third when a crash in the whoops knocked him off the bike. Hunter Lawrence moved into third. As Friese was getting back up, he was hit by Shimoda. The contact sent Shimoda off the bike. As the time and the laps ticked away, Craig made his move around Mosiman. Mosiman attempted to regain the spot but was unsuccessful. Craig went on to win the race. He also leads the season point standings ahead of Hunter Lawrence.\r\n

That is until Saturday night in Oakland. Anderson topped the podium aboard his Monster Energy Kawasaki. Adam Cianciarulo had the holeshot and early lead. Anderson moved past his teammate to take over without a challenge. Behind Anderson, Aaron Plessinger and Justin Barcia were battling for the second and third spots as Cianciarulo continued to drop back in the field. Also deeper in the field, Ken Roczen made a mistake and crashed into a berm in the whoops section. Roczen got back up but was only able to secure a thirteenth-place finish.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 Regional West class, Christian Craig scored his second consecutive win of the season. Jo Shimoda had the holeshot but Craig was able to make his move to the lead when Shimoda stalled the bike.\u00a0 A couple of minutes later, Shimoda crashed in the whoops. Winning his heat race, Roczen went onto win the main event. It was Chase Sexton who had the holeshot when the gate dropped. Sexton had also won his heat race. Roczen was quickly there to steal away the lead.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAs the race went on, Sexton nearly contacted one of his Honda teammates, Adam Cianciarulo and in mid-air getting out of shape and crashing in a turn. Sexton crashed again half a lap later. Late in the race, Cooper Webb made a hard charge, taking second in attempt to chase down Roczen.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Western Regional 250 class started with injuries and riders going down in their heat races including Colt Nichols, Jalek Swoll and Carson Brown. When it came down to the main event, Seth Hammaker had the holeshot, but Vince Friese moved in early to get out front. Friese later had to deal with Christian Craig who made a hard charge to take the lead.
