CJ Greaves adds another championship to his impressive resume.[\/caption]\r\n\r\nIn Pro-4, Cole Mamer was a man on a mission ripping around the Crandon racetrack at full speed. He earned his first ever Pro-4 victory on Saturday. CJ Greaves who has over a dozen Pro-4 Championships on his resume earned another one. It was a good day for Greaves who also secured the both the Pro Stock Side-by-Side and Pro Side-by-Side championships. Other championships this season went to Jordan Bernloeher in Pro Buggy and Dylan Parsons in the Pro Spec class.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_10473\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]

\r\n\r\nWhen it was time for the Cup race in the afternoon, Kincaid was out front leading the field. He never looked back, leading wire to wire. Thousands of fans packed Crandon to watch their local hero win the 52nd<\/sup> Cup race. \r\n\r\nThe Pro-Lite race saw several crashes and cautions. Cole Mamer never lost sight of the prize, taking the victory. Mamer had a lot of pressure from Brock Heger. After two restarts towards the end of the race, Christopher Polvoorde put himself in position behind Mamer. \r\n\r\nThe Pro-2 class was the major one. Jerett Brooks had a seventeen-point lead over Corey Winner coming into Crandon. Brooks needed to finish 8th<\/sup> or better to clinch the title. Winner needed 9 spots, plus a finish no more than three spots behind Keegan Kincaid. Little did anyone know; a perfect storm was brewing. Kincaid was out front leading the field for several laps. Jerett Brooks was third, battling with Corey Winner. Then the unthinkable happened creating a perfect storm of scenarios. A power steering belt snapped shutting his race down. He stalled in blind corner causing several trucks to crash into him. When the race restarted, Kincaid continued to lead the race keeping Winner just out of reach of the podium. When the dust settled, Kincaid won the Championship by one point, Winner lost by 1 point and oddly enough, Brooks also lost by 1 point.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/21-Crandon-Saturday-Championships_CJ-GreavesP4-300x200.jpg\")

\r\n\r\nOver in Pro-4, Kyle Leduc would pull off the track early ending his hopes for a championship. CJ Greaves had the point lead coming into this weekend. Heger\u2019s day continued to get better as he also clinched a Pro Stock side-by-side championship besting CJ Greaves. Sunday, Brock Heger fought his way to the front for the victory. Mamer, who started fifth ended up second on the podium at the checkered flag. By Saturday afternoon, mother nature had other plans. Series officials were forced to delay pro racing until the weather let up and the track dried out enough. While the side-by-side races and Pro-Lite races were able to make it to the track, the decision was made to move Pro-2 and Pro-4 racing to early Sunday morning making for a full day for many.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/DirtCity21_JGreaves-300x200.jpg\")
\r\n\r\nRacing at Dirt City is always tight and technical. This marks the second year in a row Championship Off-Road has visited this venue. \r\n\r\nJohnny Greaves has struggled in the last several rounds to win in the Pro-4 class. He has however been consistently on the podium in either second or third. Greaves finally got his win this season in Round seven. The win finally marked Greaves\u2019 100th<\/sup> win in the class. Kyle Leduc was back out on top in Round eight. Andrew Carlson was out front when the race started. A rollover would shut down his hopes for a victory. Gutierrez started out front in Round seven and never looked back, even with an extreme amount of pressure from both Cory Winner and Jerett Brooks. This is Ricky G\u2019s first career Pro-2 win. Later in the day, Ryan Beat took home his second career win in the Pro-2 class leading every lap of Round eight.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/DirtCity21_Heger-300x200.jpg\")
\r\n\r\nOfficials were able to get laps completed in the Pro-Lite class before Saturday\u2019s rain delay. Madix Bailey was out front until the restart. Cole Mamer took that spot away. A mechanical failure would cause smoke to pour out of his truck with just three turns to go. Brock Heger took advantage of the situation to claim his sixth win of the season. \r\n\r\nEvents kicked off with a private VIP party hosted at Jamey Flannery\u2019s house on the lake. Country recording artist Joe Nichols performed for attendees. \r\n\r\nSportsman races were held Friday afternoon at the track. Saturday, the Pro racers finally had their chance get on the track. Cole Mamer won in Pro-Light, pretty much checking out in the lead. Chad Rayford found himself in second on the podium.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Crandon_Brooks-300x200.jpg\")
\r\n\r\nTruck counts were up this year at Crandon. 19 Pro-2\u2019s showed up to race. There was plenty of the usual door banging and carnage. \r\n\r\nPro-4 was the most eventful race of the day. Jamey Flannery got underneath Bryce Menzies sending him flying in the air in a spectacular crash. A few laps later, Johnny Greaves took the lead away from Kyle Leduc. Greaves lost control just before turn one, flying through the air in a heart-stopping crash. The safety team immediately got to him and it was determined Greaves would be ok. After several postponements, cancellations and rescheduling of venues, the series hosted opening rounds at Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, fans were not allowed to attend the event. \r\n\r\nSaturday\u2019s Round 1 Pro Buggy race saw Matt Brister secure his first national podium. Darren Hardesty and Eliot Watson took second and third. Cameron Steele was also back behind the wheel in the buggy class mixing it up with the seasoned Pro Buggy stars. \r\n\r\nThe best battles of the weekend happened in the Pro-2 class. Jerett Brooks was the top qualifier in Saturday\u2019s Round 1. The inversion found Ricky Gutierrez on the front row. As the green flag dropped, there was plenty of the usual door banging. Jerett Brooks took the victory, Ricky Gutierrez held onto second holding off Brian Deegan who was hot on his heels in the last turn, all the way to the finish line. Round 2, the gloves came off. Much more contact between trucks. Ryan Beat led several laps before a flat tire would force him into the hot pits. Beat managed to stay on the lead lap, while several others would not be so lucky. On the restart, Mamer got on the gas and passed Anderson for the lead. Anderson attempted to fight back, unable to pass Mamer. Sunday, saw CJ Greaves on the top podium spot after Mamer spun out on the track. Ryan Beat had the lead as battles ensued behind him. Ronnie Anderson, Johnny Holtger and Ricky Gutierrez all battled for positions. When the dust settled it was Anderson and Ricky G. who held onto the remaining two podium spots. On Sunday, Beat was back in the lead, but Keegan Kincaid wasn\u2019t going to let him win. He earned his first ever Pro-4 victory on Saturday. CJ Greaves who has over a dozen Pro-4 Championships on his resume earned another one. It was a good day for Greaves who also secured the both the Pro Stock Side-by-Side and Pro Side-by-Side championships.
