\r\n\r\nComing off a winning streak at another desert series, Kevin Thompson and Harley Letner entered their unlimited truck in the Legacy Baja Nevada race. They didn\u2019t even need to clean the dust off of it. The team came in first both days earning them the overall win. Eric Hustead and TJ Flores took second in the class. Jake Johnson also pulled off an overall Class 1 win. \r\n\r\nThe 2020 Trick Truck Champion drivers Harley Letner and Kevin Thompson continue their winning streak. The Concrete Motorsports Team pulled off another win at the recent Best in the Desert Silver State 300. The team comes off of a January Parker 425 win and 2020 season championship. Thompson and Letner held off Kyle Jergensen, BJ Baldwin and Adam Householder with an overall time 4 hours, 42 minutes and 20 seconds.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021SilverState300_ConcretePodium-300x200.jpg\")

\r\n\r\nThe 300-mile Silver State 300 was run as a point-to-point race, starting in Alamo, Nevada. Ray Griffith took home a victory in the 6100-class finishing just 13-seconds ahead of Justin Blower. Dustin Grabowski finished third, just minute behind Griffith.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2021SilverState300_Blurton-300x200.jpg\")
\r\n\r\nThe UTV classes always see a large number of entries and the Silver State 300 was no exception. Phil Blurton and Beau Judge grabbed the overall victory in their Can-Am. \r\n\r\nJosh De Jong had the lead in the lead in the #17 Trick-Truck before pulling off with issues towards the first lap. B.J. Baldwin also had a strong run before Steve Olliges moved into the lead. Olliges was running solid until he lost steering 28 miles from the finish. Thompson who was driving the Concrete Motorsports #70 truck, put his head down and raced to the finish for the overall win.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Parker425-Grabowski-Win-300x200.jpg\")

\r\n\r\nJason Voss took the top spot on Saturday\u2019s podium in Trick Truck. Voss\u2019 victory was short lived after a tire change put him down a few spots on Sunday. Apdaly Lopez was on a mission, leading all of the laps in the Smiley Motorsports truck. At one point he had over a 1-minute lead on the field. Heartbreak struck just before the finish line as Apdaly\u2019s truck broke. Adam Householder moved into position to take the top spot on the podium just seconds ahead of Concrete Motorsports. The win gave Householder the overall trophy. \r\n\r\nThe day wasn\u2019t all bad for Jason Voss, as he picked up an overall in Class 8. Kyle Craft took an overall victory in 6100 driving a Brenthel built race truck. Other wins went to Garrett Allred in the 4700 class and Connor McMullen in Class 10. Official results can be found here<\/a>.
