Ultra4 has raced at Crandon since 2018, including on the \u201cWorld Championship\u201d Sunday at the iconic race track.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nCrandon will be part of Ultra4\u2019s 2023 schedule and will be a point race for drivers in the series. The Ultra4 series was purchased in March by Oklahoma-based Mid America Outdoors.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"This new agreement is a direct result of Crandon not\u00a0only opening its doors to Ultra4-style\u00a0racing\u00a0at the largest\u00a0short-course event in the world, but also successfully blending two distinctive forms of off-road\u00a0racing into one massive lifestyle festival weekend. Johnny Greaves finished second but needed just a few more laps to catch Kincaid.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nGreaves was still victorious, winning the first race of the day which was the Pro-4 Crandon World Championship race. Cole Mamer never lost sight of the prize, taking the victory. Mamer had a lot of pressure from Brock Heger. After two restarts towards the end of the race, Christopher Polvoorde put himself in position behind Mamer. Mamer extended his lead to win the race.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Class 11 bugs also had a Crandon Championship race. Cisco Bio won that race in the bright pink Palapa Boy Volkswagen bug. Bradley Morris won the Pro Buggy race and Loren Healy was back out front and on the podium in Ultra4. Owen VanEperen took the win the UTV ProMod class while Heger continued his success in the UTV Stock class.","excerpt":"
