Cory Winner claimed the top spot on the podium in Pro-2. Winner has had podiums and has been close to winning, but the top of the box had eluded him until now. This time he led the race wire-wire, fighting off pressure from both Ryan Beat and Keegan Kincaid. ERX is the one of those rare tracks where racing was run on a Friday. In the highly competitive Pro-2 class, Johnny Holtger claimed his first win of the season. Holtger was unstoppable, leading the race from start to finish. Each race in the class has seen a different winner on the podium. \r\n\r\nGray Leadbetter shut down Chad Rayford\u2019s winning streak in the Pro Spec class. Rayford had a misfortune, rolling his truck after hitting a rut. \r\n\r\nIn the Pro-4 class, the battle ensued between CJ Greaves and Andrew Carlson. While ERX is Carlson\u2019s home track, Greaves was able to take the lead on the final lap for the win. After the race, both drivers were docked three positions for unsafe speed during a caution. Adrian Cenni finished in the third spot but could ultimately be awarded the win. The tour will include seven stops, up one from the previous six venue schedule. The opening round will once again be held in Antigo, Wisconsin at the Roaring Lions Raceway. The series has held the opening round the last two years at the venue. \r\n\r\nIn July, ERX Motorpark and Dirt City are back on the schedule. August includes Bark River. The series heads to Crandon for the traditional Labor Weekend races, but it doesn\u2019t end there. The season championship races will be held in an expanded seventh round at Mid America Outdoors in Jay, Oklahoma\u2013 a new venue for the series. A pro banquet and additional $50,000 purse will also take place during the weekend.\r\n\r\n\u201cOff-road racing has an extremely passionate base, led by both its competitors and its fans,\u201d said Carl Schubitzke. \u201cWe have been looking for ways to expand, while keeping our core events intact. The MidAmerica Outdoors group brings the same passion and dedication that we have grown accustomed to here in the Midwest. \r\n\r\nKyle Kleiman has had success at ERX in the past in his Pro-Lite. Finally, stepping up in the Pro-2 class, Kleiman secured a win at ERX in Round 5. He had an early lead, but not without plenty of pressure from Jerett Brooks. Kleiman managed to hold off Brooks for a win. In Round 6, Brooks was out front and fighting to keep his position. Ryan Beat eventually moved into the lead. Cory Winner sat quietly picking off drivers. He patiently waited for his opportunity, and with three laps to go, Winner struck. First getting around Ronnie Anderson who had managed to run second place. \r\n\r\nAnother successful racer at ERX is Kyle Greaves. Greaves has five career wins at ERX. When the green flag dropped he immediately shot into the lead going wire to wire for another victory. Round 6 was a much different story with Trey Gibbs starting off in the lead. About midway into the race, Johnny Holtger made an impressive move around both Gibbs and Brock Heger as they were fighting for the lead. Holtger did everything he could to hold off pressure from Gibbs. \r\n\r\nJohnny Greaves was back on top in Friday\u2019s Round 5 Pro-4 race. With the sun setting and shadows cast on the track, drivers had their work cut out for them. When the green flag dropped, Andrew Carlson was in the lead. After all, ERX is his hometown track. His race shop is just yards from the track on the ERX property. Unfortunately, Carson spun out handing the lead over to CJ Greaves. Just a couple laps later, the younger Greaves would pull off the track with an electrical issue. Kyle Chaney moved to the front for the third lead change of the race. It wasn\u2019t long before Johnny Greaves made a pass for the lead. Hot on Greaves heels was Kyle Leduc who also made a move around Chaney. As the clock wound down, Leduc was unable to get to the lead and soon had to pit for a tire change. Greaves cruised to a win. In Round 6, Greaves put his Friday bad luck behind him, put his head down and worked his way to the front of the pack. Ahead of him was Kyle Leduc. \r\n\r\nIn Round 5 Pro-2, Jerett Brooks started side-by-side with Mickey Thomas. As the laps continued, Ryan Beat began pressuring both drivers in an effort to get to the front. Beat moved in front of Thomas and started coming after Brooks. Unfortunately, Brooks\u2019 truck stalled out and Beat took over the lead. Thomas and Beat would continue to battle door to door, but on the last lap something happened to Ryan Beat\u2019s truck and Thomas took his first Championship Off Road victory. Trevor Leighton was out front when the green flag dropped in round 6 and never looked back going wire to wire. \r\n\r\nIn the Pro-4 class for Round 5, RJ Anderson was out front, racing ERX for the first time. An over-rotation would open the door for CJ Greaves and Kyle Leduc to both make a pass for the lead. Anderson would later get tangled up with Johnny Greaves. Kyle Leduc ended up with the victory. CJ Greaves and RJ Anderson battled for the lead, back and forth. It wouldn\u2019t be long before Kyle Leduc inserted himself into the battle. Leduc would make a mistake and get counted right back out of the battle. When the dust settled Anderson bounced off k-rail allowing Greaves to keep forward momentum for the win. \r\n\r\nKyle Leduc took home a \u201cweekend sweep\u201d in Pro-4. He also celebrated a milestone 101 short-course career wins. Friday\u2019s round 1 saw Leduc cruise straight to the podium, leading all laps. Saturday, CJ Greaves was out front, but a flat tire forced him into the pits at the competition caution. Greaves stayed out on the lead lap still making the podium in third place.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/KyleGreavesPL-300x200.jpg\")

\r\n\r\nKyle Greaves had no issues sweeping the weekend in Pro-Light. This was Greaves\u2019 first weekend in the truck prepped under the Fabtech\/Winner Racing stable. The top qualifier had a successful weekend. Carson Parrish came away with a pair of second place podium trophies. Cole Mamer rounded out third on Friday\u2019s podium with Zach Szymik taking third during Saturday\u2019s round 2.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/KyleKleiman-300x200.jpg\")
