The 450 main event featured a technical, rutted track that challenged riders throughout the night. Multiple lead changes and tight racing early in the main kept the Detroit crowd on its feet, but Lawrence\u2019s late-race composure proved decisive as he pulled clear in the closing laps. fending off late pressure and capitalizing on key mistakes from his rivals to secure the win. The 15-minute plus one lap main event began with Nate Thrasher<\/span> grabbing the holeshot for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing<\/span>, leading Seth Hammaker<\/span> of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki<\/span> and Jo Shimoda<\/span> from Honda HRC Progressive<\/span> into the opening laps. Meanwhile, Davies found himself buried in 15th place off the start. Thrasher initially controlled the race, but disaster struck just a few laps in when he went down in the whoops section, handing the lead over to Hammaker. From there, Hammaker looked poised to take control, with Shimoda keeping him honest in second. Behind them, however, Davies began an astonishing charge. Sexton, the defending champion actually leads the series over Jett by a single point. Chase Sexton was crowned the winner after an all-out track battle. When the gate dropped in the 450 main event, Aaron Plessinger had the holeshot. Adam Cianciarulo moved in right away for the lead with Cooper Webb in third and Eli Tomac fourth. Plessinger reclaimed the lead and the battle was on.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAll of the front runners began trading positions on the track back and forth. Plessinger continued to hold the lead. Sexton on the move, began picking off riders until Plessinger made a critical mistake. On the second to the last lap, Plessinger crashed hard and flew off the bike. Sexton moved in for the win, his second of the season. Sexton was assessed a 7-point penalty post-race for a red-cross flag infraction after the race. The penalty will affect his championship chase.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nOver in the Eastern 250 Regional class, Haiden Deegan had the holeshot. Hunter Lawrence wasted no time grabbing the lead.
