Initially Amber Turner-Slawson was the first vehicle back to Hammertown and for a short time it looked like she would be the first female to secure an overall win. After tracking data was reviewed by the officials, it was determined Turner-Slawson had missed several virtual checkpoints along the course and assessed penalties for each one skipped.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_11972\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Brad Lovell makes a critical pass on Bailey Cole at Chocolate Thunder.[\/caption]\r\n\r\nTurner-Slawson finished third overall and second in her class. Cody Young finished second overall and first in his class competing against Turner-Slawson in the Legends class. Brad Lovell was driving a Bronco in the 4600-stock class. On the second lap, Lovell passed Bailey Cole in the rocks just below Chocolate Thunder and continued his charge towards the checkered flag. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you how thrilled I am to be here in the Ford Bronco at the finish line, it was dusty, it was intense,\u201d Lovell said in a finish line interview after the race.
