The event was held on the dunes and challenging sandy terrain. No other type of course on the entire Extreme E 2024 schedule is like the one run in Jeddah.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8953\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2024ExtremeE_DesertXPrix_RXR-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nWith multiple lead changes, Rosberg X Racing (RXR) secured the Round 1 victory. Drivers Johan Kristoffersson and Mikaela \u00c5hlin-Kottulinsky worked together to get the car to the front. The duo battled with the NEOM McLaren team, swapping places for the lead.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8954\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2024ExtremeE_DesertXPrix_ASXE-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn the second Round, Fraser McConnell and Laia Sanz came away with the victory for Team ASXE. The team struggled in Round 1 but got their redemption a day later.
