Photo: MX Sports Pro Racing[\/caption]\r\n\r\nThe Honda HRC Progressive rider grabbed a 1-1 moto score, leading every lap of the opening moto before holding off brother and points leader Jett Lawrence in Moto 2. Jett finished second overall with a pair of runner-up moto finishes, while Yamaha rookie Haiden Deegan completed the podium in third. The victory moved Hunter Lawrence to within just two points of Jett in the 450SMX standings after four rounds of the outdoor season.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_15746\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Cole Davies swept both motos to secure his first overall career win at High Point. The New Zealander controlled Moto 2 from start to finish after edging Julien Beaumer in a hard-fought opening moto. Beaumer finished second overall with 2-2 moto scores, while defending SMX World Champion Jo Shimoda rounded out the podium in third. Championship leader Levi Kitchen finished fourth overall but retained the points lead by a single point over Shimoda.\r\n\r\nThe Pro Motocross Championship now heads into its first summer break before returning July 4 for the annual RedBud National in Michigan.","excerpt":"

Photo: MX Sports[\/caption]\r\n\r\nAs seen in previous motos, Moto 1 kicked off with brothers Hunter and Jett Lawrence out front. Hunter lost traction, allowing his brother to make a pass for the lead. Both Lawrences continued to command the front of the field all the way to the end of the moto. In the second moto, Phil Nicoletti found success grabbing the holeshot. Jason Anderson moved to the lead with Jett running third. Chase Sexton soon inserted himself into the mix, and Nicoletti dropped back. Up front, Anderson and Jett battled for the lead. Once Jett made it into the lead, Sexton came knocking and soon both riders swapped lead positions for several laps. A mistake sent Sexton to the ground. Jett went on to finish for a weekend sweep.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_9858\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Ty Masterpool gets his first career 250 motocross win at High Point. Photo: MX Sports[\/caption]\r\n\r\nOver the in the 250 class, Nick Romano found himself out front only to be passed by Ryder DiFrancesco. Next it was Chance Hymas to the lead. The laps ticked down as Hymas commanded the lead. Lapped riders caused Hymas to bobble and lose the lead to Ty Masterpool. Soon Haiden Deegan came from the back and took over the lead on the white flag lap for the win. In the second moto, Coty Schock was out front with the holeshot. Soon Tom Vialle took over the lead but went down. Ty Masterpool ended up out front but also went down. Mark Fineis found himself in the lead for the first time but then crashed as well. When it was all said and done, Masterpool brought home the win with Deegan right on his rear tire. Masterpool had enough points to collect the overall win for the weekend.","excerpt":"
