Despite the injury, Hymas continued to ride winning podiums throughout the season. Hymas re-aggravated his injury during the opening round of the SMX playoffs. Hymas then pulled out of the remainder of the playoffs, but after further consultation surgery has become necessary. Hymas can\u2019t risk only a two-week recovery period then competing in the in the Motocross of Nations. There\u2019s a strong chance of him re-aggravating the injury and putting the team\u2019s potential win in jeopardy.\r\n\r\n\u201cI\u2019m absolutely gutted,\u201d Hymas said. \u201cI have waited for the opportunity to represent my country at MXoN since I was a kid.
